This page allows individuals who currently are pursuing mold avoidance to rate locations where they have visited or lived, with regard to how they have felt or with regard to how difficult it has been for them to maintain wellness in the context of effective mold avoidance.
While anyone may read the ratings reports listed below, those who are participating should read the guidelines before rating locations for the first time.
Average ratings for U.S. locations are periodically updated on the Locations Ratings Map.
On the map, double-clicking on the colored markers will bring up information about the location.
The name of the location is followed by a number showing the average rating on the 1-5 scale.
This is followed – in parentheses – by the total number of people who have rated the location.
The color code for the map is as follows:
Blue – Excellent (5)
Teal – Excellent/Good (4.5)
Dark Green – Good (4)
Light Green – Good/Fair (3.5)
Yellow – Fair (3)
Orange – Fair/Poor (2.5)
Red – Poor (2)
Fuchsia – Poor/Awful (1.5)
Burgundy – Awful (1)
Please rate locations based on your best guess as to how your health would be affected if you were to live there full-time, taking into consideration everything that you know about the the environmental aspects of the area (including the quality of the buildings, the air and the water).
If you have rated locations in a state before but would like to rate additional locations or change your ratings, please just re-rate the entire state using the same user name that you did the first time. A forum administrator then eventually will remove your previous ratings so that only one set of ratings for the state is left for you.
If you cannot remember whether you rated a state, please check the “Read Ratings” link for the state to see if any of the user names seems familiar to you.
Thanks very much to those who participate in this project!
