New Facebook Group: The Erik Johnson Effect
A new Facebook group focusing on topics of interest to mold avoidance pioneer Erik Johnson has been launched.
The group description is:
“Way overdue, this is a group to discuss exclusively the Erik Johnson Effect.
“One of the original set of patients made ill by a mysterious illness in Incline Village, Nevada in the 1980’s, which led to the Holmes definition of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Erik was also the first to identify the role that toxic mold exposure played in the Lake Tahoe CFS cluster.
“Thanks to his military training, he perfected a protocol of extreme mold avoidance which allowed him to return to climbing mountains.
“He is a modern day hero, having saved thousands of lives through advocacy, sharing his personal experience with CFS, and teaching others how to avoid mold.
“This group is set to discuss the role played by mold toxins in CFS, the ignoring by researchers of the initial history of CFS and the prospective future of this illness.”
