Mold Avoiders Poll Results: Winter vs. Summer Health Status

January 1, 2018

This poll was conducted in the Mold Avoiders Facebook group in December 2017.

The goal was to look at the extent to which the health status of participants had changed recently as winter had set in, compared to how they felt in the same locations in the summer months.

The question read:

Please mark the choice that is most true for you. Then write the name of your location in the comments. If you are moving around, then if possible, please choose a location that you have recently visited during both winter and summer months, and then answer for it. If your health status has changed since the summer months but you suspect or know that it is not due to weather effects, please mark that item and then provide details in the comments.

Of the 87 members who responded, 14 said that they could not answer the question since they were not currently living in the same location where they were living last summer.

Following is the breakdown for the other 73 respondents:

33% – I feel much worse in my current location this winter than I did during the summer months. (24 respondents)

39% – I feel somewhat worse in my current location this winter than I did during the summer months. (28 respondents)

10% – I do not feel notably better or worse in my current location this winter than I did during the summer months. (7 respondents)

15% – I feel somewhat better in my current location this winter than I did during the summer months. (11 respondents)

4% – I feel much better in my current location this winter than I did during the summer months. (3 respondents)
