Discarding Possessions Poll

 

 

This poll was conducted in the Mold Avoiders Facebook group in March 2017.

 

“How many times since starting mold avoidance have you discarded most or all of your possessions? Please count putting aside possessions for an extended period of time (such as in a storage facility) or giving/selling them to someone else as ‘discarding’ them.”

51%  I have discarded most or all of my possessions once. (41 responses)

21%  I have discarded most or all of my possessions twice. (17 responses)

9%  I have discarded most or all of my possessions three times. (7 responses)

5%  I am pursuing mold avoidance but have discarded only a few possessions, such as books and papers. (4 responses)

4%  I am pursuing mold avoidance but have discarded only some of my possessions, such as by following the Shoemaker approach. (3 responses)

3%  I have discarded most or all of my possessions four times. (2 responses)

3%  I have discarded most or all of my possessions six times. (2 responses)

1%  I am pursuing mold avoidance but have not discarded any of my possessions. (1 response)

1%  I have discarded most or all of my possessions eight times (1 respondent)

1%  I have discarded most or all of my possessions more than ten times (and can remember each time. (1 respondent)

1%  I have discarded most or all of my possessions too many times to keep track of. (1 response)
