An Experimental Protocol for Decontaminating the Toxic Substances Often Referred to as “HT” or “Hell Toxin”

April 15, 2019

By Daniel Cagua-Koo, PMA, MD, MPH

Note from Paradigm Change executive director Lisa Petrison: Dr. Daniel Cagua-Koo has been working with patients recovering their health through the use of skilled mold avoidance techniques for several years. One issue that has come up frequently is related to a particularly problematic, highly cross-contaminating group of substances that have been dubbed “Hell Toxin” or “HT” by many individuals. Following is a protocol that Dr. Cagua-Koo has found to be helpful for addressing these kinds of issues. Please note that this protocol is not guaranteed to work and that it has nothing to do with remediating water-damaged buildings. It is related to cross-contamination with certain particularly problematic substances only. Also please note that I have no personal experience with this protocol and am not personally recommending it. It is just being shared here for the benefit of those who may be interested in trying it. Please read the warning section at the bottom of the article as well as the full article before proceeding.

A PDF version of this article is available for downloading.

Disclaimer

This HT (Hell Toxin) decontamination protocol is not a medical recommendation.  It is sharing information that has worked for my clients, but the protocol may not work for you.  Nothing is a guarantee.

This is a decontamination protocol to address self-contamination and cross-contamination.

Decontamination is only one step in addressing your HT reactivity.  You should work with a clinician to reduce your internal hyperreactivity to HT contamination and remove HT from inside your body.

This is not a protocol to address water-damaged buildings.

One must be unmasked and away from contaminations before you can successfully address decontamination of HT.

Goal of HT Environmental Decontamination

(The protocol may work with various types of contaminations beyond HT.)

1. Kill environmental pathogens and spores with silver peroxide (killing pathogens will release more toxins in your environment).

2. Break down HT, toxins and VOCs with Enzymes Komplete and silver peroxide (even the degraded particles of toxins will still cause immune activation).

3. Chelate the metals and bind the toxins with various combinations of the following: zeolite (Odorzout),  pectin, MicroSilica (Biopure or Quicksilver Scientific), Emeramide (NBMI), oxalates (Bar Keepers Friend), and quaternary ammonium compound (steramine or cholestyramine).  Heavy metals, aluminum, and biological toxins all need to be addressed.

4. Remove all the particles or dust on the item or in the environment after fogging/spraying.  If dust/particles cannot be removed on porous items, the nonporous items may be hard to save.

5.  Repopulate with a healthier microbiome with EM-1 and Enzymes Komplete.

6.  Use readily available and affordable materials for decontamination.

Amazon Purchases

You will be getting most of the items from Amazon.

However, Amazon has HT contamination.

The key is to remove the contaminated container and packaging outdoors.

Do not bring it into your car or your home until removing the contaminated exterior packaging!

Even so, you will likely get contaminated with the Amazon product.  But, having these items will likely be more helpful.

In my experience, HT is in so many places that inevitably you will get contaminated.

It is nearly impossible to avoid HT, so the goal is to learn how to decontaminate the items successfully when exposed.

Basic Equipment

Following is a list of equipment that can be used to apply the solutions to the contaminated items.

1. 5 Hand Pump Sprayers

These are about $10 each.

2. Paper towels

Get many rolls.

3. Microfiber Towels

Some are contaminated, so be careful which brand you use.

Please evaluate the microfiber before purchase.

Additional Equipment

Later on, you may want to invest in the following to decontaminate larger areas.

1. Silver Bullet Fogger

This is about $180. The nozzle will degrade with multiple silver peroxide treatments.

2. Fogmaster ULV 7401

This is better than the Silver Bullet Fogger. The nozzle will not degrade with the silver peroxide protocol. The cost is about $340-400.

3. Dehumidifier

Any will do. The cost should be around $200-300.

4. Backpack Sprayer

This costs around $60.

Main Approach

This section lists a group of six solutions (plus some additional products) that are the basis for the main decontamination approach that I have been using.

These solutions may be used for cleaning objects and hard surfaces.

The total cost for the first five decontamination solutions listed here, along with 5 hand pump sprayers, will be about $160.

Emeramide, which is the sixth solution, costs about $250 for 10 grams.

So first, start with the first 5 solutions.  If you cannot afford Emeramide, then you can use horsetail tea as a temporary replacement.  But, typically severe HT contamination and HT2 will need Emeramide.

Solution #1 – Silver Peroxide

Silver peroxide will kill the pathogens as well as degrade many of the biological toxins.  This is really good for indoor toxins as well as outdoor cyanotoxins.

There are many other protocols online for fogging hydrogen peroxide for both indoors and outdoors.

Please use protective gear when working with hydrogen peroxide. This includes face mask, goggles, gloves, painter’s suit, hair covering, at least a P95 mask, etc.

The half-life of hydrogen peroxide is 8 hours.

After using the protocol, wipe down as much of the silver peroxide as possible.

If you are spraying in areas with porous items, the fumes from the silver peroxide will be very irritating.   Therefore, please be aware of the need to clean, dry off, and air out the location before entering locations after silver peroxide protocol.

Here is a PDF link about silver peroxide.

Instructions:

1) Purchase 35% hydrogen Peroxide (available at local hydroponic stores for about $35/gallon).  You will dilute this to approximately 6% prior to use.

2) Combine the one gallon of 6% peroxide with 5-10 cc’s of colloidal silver.  Silver is a stabilizer and activator of hydrogen peroxide in the presence of organic matter.

Purchasing:

Any colloidal silver will do, but here is an example of colloidal silver that Walmart carries for $20.

Solution #2 – Steramine

This is quaternary ammonium (“quats”) compound tablet. Use 2 tablets per gallon. The cost is about $9 for 150 tablets.

It may be purchased from Amazon.

You can combine silver peroxide and steramine in one solution, using one spray bottle.

Quats are the best biological toxin binders according to Dr. Shoemaker. Steramine is a strong binder of biological toxins. It works well to bind the portion of HT that is related to biological toxins.

On a side note, if you find that steramine helps a lot, it may indicate the toxins inside of you should be treated with oral or rectal bile resin binder like CSM (cholestyramine).

All quats are toxic.  You need to spray this only on objects that you can wipe down or wash out.

Instructions:

Add 2 tablets for each gallon of water and put into the hand pump sprayer.

Do not use this if you are unable to wash or wipe it off.

For those items that you cannot wash or wipe off, please see my less toxic alternatives section.

The less toxic alternative uses cholestyramine instead of steramine, but steramine works better than cholestyramine for external contaminations.

Steramine is water soluble and therefore can dissolve and be used in a spray bottle more effectively than cholestyramine (which is not water soluble).

Purchasing:

Steramine Tablets

Solution #3 – Bar Keepers Friend

One can find this item locally in supermarkets.  Please buy the powdered containers.  The cost is about $1.99.

Oxalic acid binds metal toxins including copper, aluminum, and various other toxic metals.  It seems to bind the Walmart, Target, and Costco HT well.  Other metal binders and chelators do not seem sufficient alone.

Adding Bar Keepers Friend seems to immediately remove a portion of the toxicity.  My theory is that Bar Keepers Friend binds to the aluminum portion of the metal toxicity that other metal binders do not bind.

Even though Bar Keepers Friend has toxic additives like benzene sulfonate, I have found it irreplaceable to the protocol.

Bar Keepers Friend seems to have a synergistic effect with the other traditional chelators for the environment.

Because of the chemical toxins and VOCs, please be careful using Bar Keepers Friend.  I’m using Bar Keepers Friend despite the MCS issue.

The less toxic alternatives option in the next section combines two different metal binders: zeolite and pectin.

Pectin is known to bind aluminum.  The combination of the zeolite and pectin seems to work almost as well as using Bar Keepers Friend.

Instructions:

Add 1 teaspoon of powdered Bar Keepers Friend to a gallon of water and mix into the spray pump.

You can combine Bar Keepers Friend and zeolite (Odorzout laundry powder) into one solution, for use in one sprayer.

You can replace Bar Keepers Friend with grapefruit pectin combined with zeolite (Odorzout laundry powder).

The pectin needs to be in the form of grapefruit pectin or citrus pectin. Do not use modified citrus pectin or apple pectin because they will clog the spray bottle.

Purchasing:

Bar Keepers Friend

Solution #4 – Odorzout Laundry Powder

Odorzout is a zeolite product. It costs about $15.

Zeolite and Bar Keepers Friend seem to have a synergistic effect in binding metals and toxins.

Zeolite binds metals as well as various toxins.

Based on several research studies I reviewed, aluminum seems to be bound by the oxalic acid in Bar Keepers Friend.  Bioenergetic testing seem to confirm that finding.

You can combine Bar Keepers Friend and zeolite into one solution, using one sprayer.

Zeolite powder (aluminum silicate from volcanic rock stone) can be put into a hand pump sprayer.

One caution: Zeolite, when pulverized, may release aluminum—and those cheaper zeolites contain aluminum and silica at a 1:1 ratio.

You may use Zeobind from Biopure instead which has a 1:6 ratio of aluminum to silica, but it is expensive.

For the purposes of environmental decontamination, I am focusing on readily available and affordable products.

Instructions:

Instructions: Mix 1 teaspoon per of Odorzout into a gallon of water into the hand pump sprayer.

Solution #5 – Enzymes Komplete and EM-1

Enzymes Komplete costs about $45 for one liter.  An initial supply of EM-1 costs about $30.

Enzymes Komplete will further metabolize any biological toxins and synthetic toxins quickly.  In particular, it also may decontaminate glyphosate, pesticides, and various biological toxins.

Enzymes Komplete also has quorum sensing capacity, stimulating the growth of healthy microbial environment.

EM-1 can be used to repopulate the microbial environment, the same way you would use probiotics for your intestines.

Use EM-1 for your environment.  EM-1 works more slowly, so one should combine the two to maximize the impact.

Instructions:

1) Mix 1 part Enzymes Komplete to 10 parts water.

2) Mix 1 part EM-1 to 10 parts water.

3) Mix 13 ounces (1.5 cups) of Enzymes Komplete + 13 ounces (1.5 cups) of EM-1 into one gallon of water, for use in the hand pump sprayer.

Purchasing:

Solution #6 – Emeramide

Emeramide is essential and needed for certain HT strains (HT2).

Certain HT strains will need Emeramide to be fully decontaminated.

I put it last, because it is expensive, but I still find it essential for various HT strains.

Emeramide seems to work much better than IMD/MicroSilica to decontaminate the environment.

Instructions: Mix 1 gram per gallon.  You need to use a mortar and pestle and finely grind the Emeramide. Smaller spray bottles will get clogged, but the larger hand pump sprayers and the foggers typically function well with Emeramide.

Emeramide permanently chelates heavy metals.   All other chelators are weak chelators and will not permanently bind to the metals.

The purpose of the purchase is for soil and environmental decontamination and not for oral consumption.

In the United States, Emeramide is not approved for oral chelation.  (In Switzerland Emeramide is approved for oral chelation, however.)

FandaChem (a Chinese company) sells Emeramide.  Dylan at FandaChem is the person to contact.  The purpose is for “soil decontamination,” not for internal use.

You should e-mail them your CC information and request 10 grams (~$200-300).   In the email, include shipping address, business name, and payment information.   You do not need to include anything else.

MedKoo is a U.S. company. They will sell the product only to businesses.

To order from MedKoo, email them your CC information and request 10 grams (~$250).

In the email, include shipping address, business name, and payment information. You do not need to include anything else.

Solution #6A – Horsetail Tea

This should be considered just a temporary alternative to Emeramide if it is too expensive.

Horsetail tea does not permanently bind the metals, and therefore the toxicity will return in 3 days.

Emeramide and MicroSilica (IMD) will permanently bind.

Emeramide seems to work much better than IMD for spraying the environment.

The cost of organic horsetail tea is about $13.

Instructions: Brew organic horsetail tea, strain it, and put it in the hand pump sprayer.

Alternative Approach

The following four solutions provide a less toxic alternative to the approach discussed above.

Solutions 3 and 4 are exactly the same instructions as Solutions 5 and 6 in the first approach.

Alternative Solution #1 – Silver Peroxide Solution and Cholestyramine

This solution combines silver peroxide solution ($55) with pure compounded cholestyramine (CSM) ($250-$450 dollars for 480 grams).

This is a replacement for the toxic steramine solution above and conveniently combines the two solutions above into one solution.

However, steramine works better than cholestyramine.

If the cholestyramine seems ineffective, please use the steramine. I have had to go back to steramine several times for severe HT contaminations.

Instructions:

Please follow the instructions for the first solution above for the silver peroxide and then add 2 teaspoons of pure compounded cholestyramine powder to a gallon of silver peroxide solution.

You cannot put this in a standard spray bottle because the cholestyramine will clog the sprayer.   However, it works well in a larger hand pump sprayer.

Alternative Solution #2 – Grapefruit Pectin, Odorzout and MicroSilica

This solution replaces the Bar Keepers Friend with a combination of grapefruit pectin ($35), Odorzout ($15) and MicroSilica ($120 for 5 grams from BioPure).

To save money, you may omit MicroSilica and use the money for Emeramide.

You cannot use apple pectin or modified citrus pectin for this. They form gels and will not disperse in water.

Grapefruit pectin seems to work well. I am currently using a citrus pectin that works well.

This solution conveniently combines two products also.  For now, it seems effective in addressing the toxin bound by Bar Keepers Friend for environmental decontamination.

For clothing, I still recommend using Bar Keepers Friend, because you can completely rinse it out in the washer.

Instructions:

Combine the following in 1 gallon of water in a hand pump sprayer.

1) 1 teaspoon of grapefruit pectin (1/2  teaspoon may work better).

2) 1 teaspoon of Odorzout zeolite (1/2 teaspoon may work better).

3)  500 mg of MicroSilica.

Alternative Solution #3 – Enzymes Komplete and EM-1

Enzymes Komplete costs about $45 for one liter.  An initial supply of EM-1 costs about $30.

Enzymes Komplete will further metabolize any biological toxins and synthetic toxins quickly.  In particular, it also may decontaminate glyphosate, pesticides, and various biological toxins.

Alternative Solution #4 – Emeramide

Emeramide is essential and needed for certain HT strains (HT2).

Certain HT strains will need Emeramide to be fully decontaminated.

I put it last, because it is expensive, but I still find it essential for various HT strains.

Emeramide seems to work much better than IMD/MicroSilica to decontaminate the environment.

Emeramide permanently chelates heavy metals.   All other chelators are weak chelators and will not permanently bind to the metals.

I have found Emeramide to be essential for certain strains of HT.

The purpose of the purchase is for soil and environmental decontamination and not for oral consumption.

Decontamination Procedure

Following are basic decontamination procedures using the main approach (with the six main solutions) and with the alternative approach (using the four less toxic solutions).

Often, all parts of the protocol are required to fully decontaminate.

Sometimes, you may get by with doing only a part of the protocol.

For example,  if silver peroxide is sufficient to decontaminate an item, you do not need to use the other steps of the protocol.

Again, there are many different types of HT toxin and each may require a different combination of protocols to decontaminate.

You many notice that each step makes the item feel better.  So I personally recommend doing all the steps.

I suggest experimenting with decontaminating a nonporous item first.

Main Approach:

The first five steps should be enough – never perfect, but likely enough.

For some HT, you will need Step 6 (Emeramide), especially if you are struggling with severe contamination with HT.

1. Spray the item with the silver peroxide spray.   Evaluate your response.   If the item is still bad, please go to the next step.  (Be sure to wear protection, goggles, gloves, and P95 mask when using silver peroxide.)

2. Spray the item with a steramine quaternary ammonium compound. (Quats bind mold toxins.) This is toxic.  Be sure to wipe and clean carefully, while wearing gloves. After wiping, evaluate your response.   If the item is still bad, please go to the next step.

3. Spray the item with the Bar Keepers Friend and then wipe down. Evaluate your response.  If the item is still bad, please go to the next step.

4. Spray with Odorzout zeolite.   Evaluate your response.  If item is still bad, please go to the next step.

5. Spray the item with Enzymes Komplete and EM-1.  Evaluate response. (Note that EM-1 requires time to decontaminate.)

6. Spray the item with Emeramide.   Wipe down.  Evaluate response.

Alternative Approach:

This is the procedure using the less toxic alternative approach.

1. Spray the item with the silver peroxide and cholestyramine spray.   Evaluate your response.   If the item is still bad, please go to the next step.  (Be sure to wear protection – goggles, gloves, and P95 mask – when using silver peroxide.)

2. Spray the item with the solution consisting of pectin, MicroSilica, and Odorzout zeolite.  After wiping, evaluate your response.   If the item is still bad, please go to the next step.

3. Spray the item with Emeramide.   Wipe down.  Evaluate your response. (You may not need this step, since we used MicroSilica in step two.  However, sometimes, one needs the Emeramide to fully decontaminate.  In theory MicroSilica should bind the same metals, but in my experience, Emeramide seems to work better. This may be because it is fat soluble and may penetrate organic matter better.)

4. Spray the item with Enzymes Komplete and EM-1 solution.   Evaluate your response.  You may keep the solution on the item and let it decontaminate overnight, and then check again the next day.

Protocol For Larger Spaces

This protocol is for contaminated indoor spaces, contaminated cars, and contaminated outdoor spaces.

Doing larger areas, you will want to invest in the Silver Bullet Fogger and a 4-gallon backpack sprayer, which allows you to spray larger areas.

Fogging and Spraying:

One goal of fogging is to make sure the particles in the air come down to the ground faster in order to wipe them down.

When fogging or spraying, make sure you fog/spray the entire location, including the air space.

The smaller droplets in the fogging machine allow more of the particles to come down on the ground for wiping and removing.

Once you fog/spray, you should immediately wipe it down before the liquid dries up.

Also, you need to spray and fog the walls.

Walls become contaminated with HT and must be sprayed well.

Fogging Protocol Instructions:

Fill the Silver Bullet Fogger or the Fog Master with 6% hydrogen peroxide and add 5 cc’s of colloidal silver.

Protection is needed.  Wear gloves and preferably a hair cover, painters suit, goggles, and at least a P95 mask. Make sure you have protective gear whenever you use silver peroxide.

Place the machine in the corner of the room, point the fogger at the middle of the room, and let it run for 15 minutes.  Please do not be in the room!

After 15 minutes, return to the room and go to the next step of the protocol.

If you are spraying an outdoor space, just point the fogger in the area that you want to decontaminate.

Hydrogen peroxide will degrade the rubber components of the Silver Bullet Fogger, giving you only about 6-7 uses before you need to purchase another machine.   So, instead of the Silver Bullet Fogger, I recommend investing in the more expensive Fog Master.

If you do purchase the Silver Bullet Fogger, use it only for spraying Odrozout, Emeramide, and EM-1/Ezyme Komplete.

Use the back pack sprayer or other hand pump sprayer for the silver peroxide in order to save the Silver Bullet Fogger from breaking down.

However, spraying silver peroxide with a pump or back back sprayer will expose you to more caustic hydrogen peroxide.  You must wear goggles, painter’s suit, gloves, and P95 mask.

For indoors, you will want to use a dehumidifier.  Typically they cost around $200. Hopefully you already have a dehumidifier.

Please turn on the dehumidifier when you are doing the fogging protocol.  Even if the dehumidifier is already contaminated, you can still use it because it will be decontaminated by the protocol.

If you have carpet, you will likely not be able to save the space from HT.   So indoor treatments work best for hard nonporous floors that can be wiped clean.   You will not save carpets.  So, the best chance you have is to treat the carpet, vacuum, treat again, and cover it with a polyethylene sheet.

Without A Fog Master:

Use the backpack sprayer or hand pump sprayer for the following if you do not have the Fog Master. If you have the Fog Master, use it for all steps of the protocol.

If you can fully wipe down, and you are decontaminating nonporous surfaces, please use the following protocol.  Otherwise, if you have items you cannot wipe down fully, you will want to use the less toxic alternative solutions.

Part 1 – Silver Peroxide and Steramine:

Solutions 1 and 2 (silver peroxide and steramine) can be combined into one bottle.

1. Silver Peroxide.  Use the backpack sprayer or hand pump sprayer.  Minimize exposure by wearing all the safety precautions including goggles, P95 mask, painters suit, and gloves.

2.  Steramine. This is a toxin, so you want to make sure you spray the floors and areas that you can fully wipe down.   Use the hand pump sprayer to spray areas/floors and objects in the room that can be fully wiped down.

Part 2 – Bar Keepers Friend

Bar Keepers Friend is a toxin, and so you want to make sure you spray the floors and areas that you can fully wipe down.

Use the hand pump sprayer to spray areas/floors and objects in the room that can be fully wiped down.

Part 3 – Odorzout/Zeolite and Emeramide

1. First, use Odorzout/Zeolite.

2. Then, use Emeramide. (Emeramide must be separate.)

You can use the Silver Bullet Fogger for these items.

If you want to save money, you can spray with the hand pump sprayer. It just takes more time.

Once you fog/spray down the room with the first five steps, please wipe down the entire room.

Use the paper towels and wipe down everything in the room.

Once a paper towel is wet, please throw it away.   You will use lots of paper towels – about 3-4 paper towel rolls for each room.

You goal is to remove as much dust/particles with the paper towel as you can.  So once a towel is wet, please throw it out right away.

Part 3 – EM-1 and Enzymes Komplete

Next, fog the place with EM-1 and Enzymes Komplete.

You do not need to fog it for 15 minutes.  This time, you can fog for 3-5 minutes.

You do not need to wipe down the Enzymes Komplete or the EM-1.

Let the EM-1 and Enzymes Komplete continue to decontaminate the location after you are finished with the procedure.

Protocol for Car/RV/Cargo Trailer

Use the same protocol described above, depending on your individual sensitivities.

You will not be able to fully wipe off the Bar Keepers Friend and the steramine if you have porous fabric and carpet in your vehicle/RV.

I still recommend using those chemicals if you do not have the less toxic alternatives with you. But you must test out your individual tolerance.

HT typically is worse than the toxicity of Bar Keepers Friend and steramine.

Again, individual tolerance is the key.

If you have the less toxic alternatives, please use those first.

If the less toxic alternative has failed and you are in the position where you may be selling the vehicle because of HT contamination, I recommend trying decontaminating it with the 6-step protocol before making the final decision to get rid of the vehicle.

Laundry Decontamination

Heavily contaminated items should be thrown out.

For light to moderately contaminated items, please follow the following instructions.

1. Spray the item with hydrogen peroxide first.

2. Powder each item with Odorzout and Bar Keepers Friend before putting it in the washer. The front and the back of each article of clothing needs to be powdered. (Yes, this is a lot of work. You will be using one bottle of powdered Bar Keepers Friend (470 gram bottle) per load. Yes, it is a lot. You will use about 1/10 the amount of Odorzout as Bar Keepers Friend.)

3. Add Downy Free and Gentle fabric softener to the washing cycle. (Not the rinse cycle!)

4. Add your choice of non-scented detergent and wash.

5. Once washed, please evaluate the clothing to make sure that it feels fully decontaminated.   Likely the clothing will still feel toxic.

6. If clothing still feels toxic, please spray the clothing (front and back) with silver peroxide and Emeramide.

7. Once you spray each item of clothing, please put it in the spin cycle.

8. Afterward the item is finished spinning, put it in the dryer.  Its important to use the dryer to make sure that all the dead particles are dried and aired out of the clothing.

9. If you feel the dryer is contaminated, please use a large towel and generously spray the towel with all of the 5 different sprays/powders (silver peroxide, steramine, Odorzout, Bar Keepers Friend and Emeramide).  Let the wet towel covered in the five decontamination solutions dry in the dryer.

10. Remember to treat the laundry room with the decontamination protocol, so that the air going into the dryer is not contaminated.

Mattresses

Mattresses cannot be saved, but you should always try doing the decontamination protocol.

You maybe able to reduce the reactivity enough with the protocol to cover the mattress with a 6 mm polyethylene sheet. (You may do better with a 3mm sheet, since the 6mm sheet can disturb sleep—it makes loud noises if you move.)

You should cover all your mattress, pillows, etc. with plastic sheeting.

After covering with the polyethylene sheet, you can cover it with your preference of bedding/sheets.

Purchasing:

Plastic Sheeting

Bedding Maintenance

You will likely self-contaminate your bedding and your mattress.

Pillows cannot be saved.

Thick comforters cannot be saved, unless only superficially contaminated.

Only thin twin sized comforters and bedding can be saved.

For thin twin sized comforters, spray the comforter with silver peroxide, Emeramide, and steramine.

Once all the surface areas are sprayed, the comforter should be dried in the dryer for 30 minutes or until fully dried.

Spraying and drying typically decontaminates the thin comforters without needing to wash them.

If you wash the comforters, please use the protocol above with Bar Keepers Friend.

You cannot decontaminate comforters larger than a twin size in a washer unless you have a large capacity washer.

Sheets can be treated in the same way as comforters.  Spray the sheets with the three solutions and put them in the dryer cycle.

This should sufficiently decontaminate the bedding.

Warning & Disclaimer

This article provides information about an experimental protocol that is suggested to possibly have the potential of allowing highly sensitized people to remain in their homes and retain their possessions, rather than having to abandon them due to cross-contamination with particularly problematic toxic substances.

This protocol is entirely experimental and is in no way guaranteed to address contamination issues.

In addition, the use of the protocol conceivably could make contamination issues worse or could damage possessions in other ways.

This protocol uses a number of industrial chemicals that have the potential of causing individuals to experience physical harm or that may trigger their reactivities.

Users are cautioned to read about the safety instructions of these chemicals and to follow those instructions, in addition to heeding the specific instructions stated in this article.
