Information from the Environmental Working Group (EWG) Skin Deep website<\/strong><\/a> is listed here to allow individuals to easily identify products containing ingredients that they may prefer to avoid.<\/p>\n Although the overall EWG ratings also may provide some helpful guidance, in most cases these were generated by the automated “Build Your Own Report” function on the site rather than through a studied evaluation by EWG personnel. I therefore do not suggest that they be assumed to provide definitive information with regard to the comprative toxicity of products discussed here.<\/p>\n The “Lisa Ratings” take into consideration both toxicity and functionality issues, based on all objective information at my disposal as well as my own subjective experiences with the products.
