She appeared in advertisements for a variety of companies (including Dolce & Gabbana, Olay, Anthropologie and Ann Taylor) as well as in fashion magazines like\u00a0Vogue.\u00a0<\/em>She continued an active modeling career until 2018, when she died of soft tissue sarcoma.<\/p>\n Model Cindy Joseph started the Boom! cosmetic company in 2010 to promote her belief that older women look better when they wear a minimal amount of makeup that brings out their natural beauty rather than covering it up. The centerpiece of the company is the Boomstick Color stick, which is designed to create a natural-looking healthy glow on the cheeks and lips.<\/p>\n (The company now also sells a few other makeup products, including a highlighting stick; a moisturizing stick; an eyebrow gel; a mascara; and a lip balm.
